1978's Sassafras LP, a soul funk album with a touch of disco, was a project largely conceived by the first family of Philly Soul, the Ingram Family Band and featured songs written by family members Barbara, Butch, William, John and James Ingram. Highly collectible in soul-funk and disco circles, the Sassafras album commands high dollar among collectors.
