Product notities

'Fire up River', the fourth solo release from Silverado Records artist Patrick Flynn is a surprising yet pleasant departure for the veteran singer/songwriter. In previous releases, Flynn has collaborated with some of the most talented musicians in the industry such as Blues Legend Charlie Musselwhite, Jim Pugh from the Robert Cray Band, and several others that have played with the likes of B.B. King and Ray Charles. With the exception of the Bass track on 'Empty Room' and some background vocals on 'Work Together' and 'Anthem For America' in which his son Isaiah Flynn helped out, and the Saxophone part on 'Work Together' laid down by Patrick's god son Vito Triglia, all the other instrumentation and vocals were done by Flynn working alone, with only engineer Daryl Webb in his Napa Valley studio. Rich with pleasing melodies and deep, complex, yet uplifting lyrics, Flynn always weaves a fascinating tapestry of color and sound. Fans looking for lyrics with social and political commentary as well as Flynn's patented messages about life and love won't be disappointed.
