Diagnosed with a degenerative disease, Lily (Susan Sarandon) wanted one more weekend family gathering at the house for herself and her doctor husband Paul (Sam Neill)-before she elected euthanasia. Her plans, though, prove difficult to process for her disparate daughters (Kate Winslet, Mia Wasikowska), whose brave faces might yet slip.
