Young Eleanor Questions the Naked Chicken
Young Eleanor stopped playing music together in 2006 - please buy the last remaining albums to clear up some space on poor old CD Baby's shelves! You won't regret it. Promise. --------- Timeoff Magazine described Young Eleanor's debut EP as "one of the highlights of the local scene so far this year..." Bound by a mutual love of curling and lapsang souchong, the members of Young Eleanor enjoy giving collective birth to the aural sensation that we call 'music' almost as much as they enjoy referring to themselves in third person. When prompted to pigeonhole their shtick, the band will generally contort their faces in a goofy way and mumble 'pop/rock' before recoiling upon the realisation that they don't sound anything like 78 Saab. Or the Veronicas for that matter. Well... maybe a little. If, as the X-Files hypothesised, the truth is indeed out there, though, it would probably state that Young Eleanor's sound lay somewhere between Holly Golightly and the Eagles; stopping at Little Barrie's house on the way for cheese and crackers.
