Pastor Adeyemi A. Adedeji, M.D. was born in Nigeria, West Africa and came to know the Lord Jesus Christ as his Savior while a teenager, under the guidance of his mother, Pastor Comfort Adedeji. She gave him a new Gideon's Bible in 1981 and encouraged him to read it as much as possible. He completed the Bible within three years and in the space of six years he completed the entire Bible trice, while still under 19 years of age. Pastor Y, as he is commonly known, obtained admission to study Human Nutrition at the University of Ibadan in 1984, and graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in 1989. Within the Church, he became a notable leader among the youths and was consequently appointed Secretary of the Church's Youth Ministry. He held this position for three years until May 1990 when he came over to America to join his father's Ministry, Christ Glory International Ministries (CGIM) then known as (Agbala Daniel Church), Irvington, NJ as a teacher of the Word of God. Before this life changing transition, under the inspiration of the Holy Ghost Yemi Adedeji was led to establish the Peacemakers Evangelical Ministries (PEM). The Ministry was founded in Ibadan, Nigeria with nine people on September 9th, 1989 and was later reestablished in New Jersey, USA on May 9th, 2000. He was ordained an Evangelist by the United Christian Church and Ministerial Association, TN on June 3rd, 1993, was a Youth Coordinator for seven years at CGIM and has been involved in many Revival programs and Seminars at different Churches. On August 4, 2002 he was ordained a Pastor at CGIM under the leadership of his father, Bishop Joseph Adedeji, where he is actively officiating till date. Under the banner of PEM, monthly rallies are held called, "Reconciliation Power Outreach" as well as periodic outreaches focusing on the Youth, Singles and Married Couples. He is the author of three books and with his wife Shola an anointed soloist and song writer, have produced 3 Gospel music albums. Pastor Y is also the writer and executive producer of three inspiring movies, "The Pillars" series. He is also the executive producer of the award winning movie produced by Moses Adedeji titled, "Tears of My Joy". This movie won the Nollywood USA Best Movie award in Jan 2011. Together with his wife they have ministered in different states of America, Ireland, Nigeria and the Caribbean. They are blessed with children. In August 1997, Pastor Y pursued a childhood dream of becoming a physician by accepting admission into Spartan Health Science University, School of Medicine, St. Lucia and graduated with an MD degree in 2001. With plans of specializing in Obstetrics, Gynecology and Infertility, he is at present a Medical Director working in the field of Drug Safety Surveillance with a multi-national pharmaceutical company. Pastor Yemi Adedeji, now Pastor in Charge of Christ Glory International Ministries, has a passion for teaching and preaching the whole Gospel of Jesus Christ with signs and manifestations of the Holy Ghost following. There have been notable miracles of healings, deliverances and supernatural provision for many he has ministered to. He also holds free Health screenings in under privileged communities, including Ibadan, Nigeria and Eldorado Park, South Africa.
