Until Death Do Impart
William P. Robertson is a freelance writer from Duke Center, PA, and his work has appeared in over 480 magazines in the U.S., the U.K., Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Malaysia, and Romania. He has published 10 chapbooks of poetry and the audio book GASP! He has co-written with David Rimer seven historical fiction novels about the famous Civil War rifle regiment--the Bucktails. ShadowFox has been rocking western Pennsylvania since the mid-1970's and has opened for such national acts as Head East, Frijid Pink, Black Oak Arkansas, and Cheap Trick. The band has also released six projects, including the regional hit album, FIRST BLOOD, and the CD, POWER. Current band members include A.J. Curtis (guitar/vocals), Jim Mattern (keyboards/guitar), Dave Maynard (bass/vocals), and Jeff Lain (drums). UNTIL DEATH DO IMPART contains 24 poems and 4 songs which explore the realms of sci-fi, horror, Medieval fantasy, and the mythology of rock n' roll. With the help of his sound effects gang, the Crypt Kicker 5, Robertson simulates the fury of alien battles, the terror of deep space, and the strangest of marriages, complete with a warped Wedding March. Death is the pervading theme and is viewed from the perspective of psychopaths, burn-outs, and twisted sisters. The ShadowFox songs add punch and variety and range from the haunting blues of 'Shelly' to the wry humor of 'Devil on MTV' to the swamp rock crunch of 'Shadows Part Slowly' and 'You Are a Witch in Pretty Skin.' Critics are raving about Robertson's new CD. Sarah Crabtree of 'New Hope International Review' calls it, 'A little treasure for anybody who's a fan of Poe, poetry and good old rock n' roll.' Jim Lee of 'Scavenger's Newsletter' says, 'In short, UNTIL DEATH DO IMPART is a winner--a must have for all lovers of humor-tinged macabe verse and music.' G. W. Thomas in the February 2003 'Expressions' magazine goes even further: 'Horror poetry is in a renaissance. One of the living masters of the art is, without doubt, William P. Robertson. Why? The answer can be found on Robertson's newest recording, this time a CD called UNTIL DEATH DO IMPART.' Order now and catch the buzz!!
