The Wheatland Chorale was founded in 1987 by Director Robert J. Upton and is widely recognized for artistic excellence and heartfelt performance. The group has appeared throughout central and southeastern Pennsylvania. The chorale was selected to sing at St. Patrick's Cathedral in New York City, the Washington national Cathedral and the White House. In 1996, the ensemble toured England. A tour of central Europe was completed in 2008 and a tour of eastern Europe is planned for 2011. The Chorale has also been featured on National Public Radio's 'The Music Box' and 'The First Art.'
