The Wheatland Chorale was founded in 1987 by director Robert J. Upton, and is widely recognized for artistic excellence and heartfelt performance. The group has appeared throughout central and southeastern Pennsylvania and was selected to sing at St. Patrick's Cathedral in New York City, the Washington National Cathedral and the White House. In 1996, the ensemble toured England and completed a tour of Central Europe in 2008. A tour of Eastern Europe is planned for 2011. The Chorale has beeen featured on National Public Radio's 'The Music Box' and 'The First Art.'
