Warren Moise has written, played, and/or recorded songs with the Drifters, Maurice Williams, Clifford Curry, Second Nature, Billy Joe Royal, the infamous Papa Wheel, and the Chairmen of the Board. This newest CD combines 1960s soul music with rock music of today for an infectious sound. 'I grew up in South Carolina playing in a 1960s soul band called The Tempests,' he says. 'While playing in various groups in Columbia, and recording as a session musician, I became affiliated with General Johnson and Mike Branch whose Surfside Records in Charlotte was just becoming successful.' Ocean Boulevard, a tune he wrote and produced with General Johnson was the first Beach Music Record of the Year. Warren eventually went to law school, and after honing his skills as a trial lawyer for 20 years, he has returned to songwriting and recording. This is the third record he has done in the past two years, playing all the instruments and singing all vocals, and by far his best.
