In the fall of 2008 singer songwriter, Leon Angel and guitarist turned bassist, Williston Cox began experimenting in the Flood Studios complex in Bushwick, Brooklyn. By early 2009, guitarist Ryan Dearth of Burden of Man joined the band and added color to the developing project. He soon was followed by jazz drummer Kyle Dailey, who solidified the sound of what would become indie pop rock band Vintage Villain. In the summer of 2009, the V V started playing live, developing a following that increased with every show. By October of 2010 the band had released their first recorded effort, the self produced EP album, 'Cherry'. The Brooklyn quartet finalized their first music video for the title song of the album- released February 12th of this year.
