Born and raised in Philadelphia, Ronnie Walker is a talented singer / songwriter known to have initiated the 'Philly Falsetto' - a prevalent sound in Philadelphia-produced music. Recognized to be on par with both Smokey and Cutis and in the same league as other Philly artists such as The Delfonics, Stylistics, Eddie Holman and Blue Magic, he is also an established hero of UK Northern Soul Fans. Ronnie and Vince Montana go back a long, long way. 1968 was their first meeting at Sigma Sound Studios; Ronnie recording vocals for Vent Records and Vince playing vibes on the session. "Guess I'll Never Understand (The Workings of Your Mind)" is one of the first projects that they penned and recorded together; followed by the enduring masterpieces "You've Got To Try Harder (Times Are Better)" and "Magic's In The Air". 'Just Feel' includes not only Ronnie's most renowned classics; but for the first time you will hear him personally perform the incredible hits that he and Vince wrote for other artists such as Carole Williams, Brown Sugar & Denise Montana. (Unless you were lucky enough to catch him LIVE in the UK recently!!). All are original productions and/or recently recorded vocals over original tracks / Produced, Arranged & Conducted by Vincent Montana, Jr. For more "Philly Soul" from Philly Sound Works check out "Philly Ear Kandy"
