Almost five years in the making, the album details the rise and fall of an imaginary musician. We get to see what initially drives him from childhood to his ultimate lonely end. As with other Vermillion Skye albums, the songs are accessible yet have a progressive edge to them. With the lyrics, there is also a story-line included which makes it easy to follow along with the overall tale. Highlights include 'Promise', 'Almost Perfect', 'Lowest Common Denominator', and 'Clean and Sober'. This album is Bill Reill's sophomore production effort and it is brilliant. We hope you enjoy listening to the album over and over again and become as addicted as we are to it.
