Extraordinarily talented singer and songwriter, Tyreika is truly one of today's most gifted and soulful singers. Born in Baltimore, Maryland Tyreika Renee' has been singing since the age of 3. Tyreika has always dreamed of being a successful singer/songwriter. After graduating from high school, Tyreika Renee' decided it was time to turn her dream into a reality. She attended a music seminar that was hosted by Russell Simmons so that she could educate herself about the music business. During her departure from the seminar, she was approached by a local music producer, and began working with him. She was in the studio everyday from sunrise to sunset. Because of her strong writing ability, Tyreika Renee' she was recognized by various other local artists, with whom she did collaborations with. Tyreika's name also became known to many of B-more's clubs. She began performing at 'The Five Seasons', a hip-hop club in B-More where local artists showcase their talent. Although it was supposed to be hip-hop night, Sonny, the club promoter, was so impressed with her performance and vocals; he booked her for several shows. Some of her Performances included the Belvedere Hotel with a live band, The Turntable Club, other local clubs and events, such as; The Stop The Violence Campaign in Baltimore. Tyreika also performed in D.C, New York, and Virginia. People who knew her often compared her to Lil' Mo mixed with Mary J. Blige. As a songwriter and solo artist, she performed some of her most requested songs such as: 'Radio,'In My Shoes', 'Put Your Hands Up', and 'No More'. She always gets her audience pumped up with her showstopper, 'T-Y-R-E-I-K-A.' Singers such as, Mary J. Blige, Beyonce, Alicia Keys, Keyshia Cole and Lil' Mo have inspired her soulful voice and style. Tyreika continues to strive to entertain and give her audience the bestthat she's got. In December 2007, Tyreika Renee' was voted B-More's best Female R&B Artist at Baltimore's 1st Annual Blammy Awards.
