TSOV Crew's new CD, "Mixed," is a collection of artists on and associated with the revived Stone Gold Records label and it's affiliated TSOV (The Sound of Virginia) Records label. "Mixed" features fun, radio friendly club tracks and also gritty, true stories from the 7 Cities area of Virginia, also known as Hampton Roads. Vocals are provided by new but experienced artists like Nutskiezy, Catfish, Patrena, Rikki Alsum, D-Infamous, and Lucky Star, plus veteran artists and producers, Danny Gold and General Jo. "Mixed" showcases the talent which will launch future, individual albums on some of the artists featured on this CD. "Mixed" is banging out the box with the hot single, "Shake It Like Your Daddy Ain't Home," featuring Nutskiezy and an appearance by General Jo from the Dangerous Jams label who has now merged with Stone Gold Records. The track is fun and sexy with a club atmosphere to get you moving. Daniel "Danny Gold" Goldstone founded Stone Gold Records (SGR) in the 70s and TSOV Records in the 80s, as an artist, writer, producer, and label owner. He was featured in a number of R&B, Funk, and Hip-Hop groups, and as a solo artist. Those records have developed cult-like followings with record collectors in Europe, Asia, and the United States, and are being rediscovered by new fans on YouTube and other sites as DJs are digging into crates and mixing those tracks into their shows. "Mixed" is the first CD in a series of albums being released by Goldstone on Stone Gold Records. On deck is "The Best of TSOV-Funk," featuring Peace, Justice & Equality, Danny Gold, TSOV All-Stars, Royalty, The Deceptions, and more.
