Run Out of Luck
Run Out Of Luck has been around as an album for some time, and was recorded in the late eighties but never released. It was recorded by Trevor and the members of his band Clevor Trevor which comprised of Chris Selfe (keyboards), Martin Pearl (guitar) and Tom Wiker (drums) with guest appearances by Eddie Allen on guitar an Gerry Seaton on saxaphone on Unlucky Lynda. The songs vary a great deal, from the autobiographical Run Outa Luck to the eerie atmospheric Song for 'M'. 'This is It' was written in a car park in Cambridge whilst Christmas Shopping although not a Christmas song. Obviously too much for the shortsighted record companies of the time. The late eighties were a very difficult period in the music industry if you were a guitar band. Sadly it was decided to dissolve the band after the drummer Tom Wiker went back to the USA in the early 90's and a replacement could not be found. After being persuaded by Paul TJ O'Niell (Perfect Pitch Records and Bolton Iron Maiden fame) to come out of hiding, Trevor decided to make a comeback, with more material still in the pipeline and the feeling that he still has a lot to say he is back in the recording studio working on the next album. Which should be ready mid 2010. Run Out Of Luck will be the first of many you have not heard the last of Trevor G Dutton.
