The follow up to A Single Word, it feels like a different record, but really these are two halves of the same thing. I've wanted to make this record for a long time, it feels good to have finished it. There are loads of musicians and poets, loads of creative people from this place, ace people. I've had four tours of duty here, the last one ending early March 2002. I didn't grow up here, but it will always feel like home. The opener 'You Stayed Home For Me', is dedicated to my lovely Dad, thanks mate. And it goes on, an Ode to a lost friend, a tale of a new one, an apology for not being in love. This album was made at home, like A Single Word, with the emphasis on the words and feeling again. I hope you feel it...
