I didn't mention it when talking about my first album 'Everybody', but for the year and a half that it took to record, I was battling a viral infection. I would go through periods where I would be too weak to go for an aggressive sound, so I decided to make the most of a difficult situation, and went soft acoustic! By the middle of 2008, my body finally beat the illness down, and I was ready to rock and roll! The songs on this album are a return to a harder sound, but I learned changing up the style and tempo can make a fresh difference. 'Mr. Mother' and 'Sweet' were upbeat pop/rock tunes. For this album, they both got the 'unplugged' treatment. I got what I thought was a great idea for an album title. Since the word 'all' repeats in many of the songs I decided, 'Wouldn't it be a great idea to call the CD 'ALL'. Afterwards, I realized... 'Everybody' and 'ALL' are basically synonymous! So much for brilliance!
