The song 'Back to New England was written about my living in the Berkshires for 30 years and traveling around playing my songs. 'Mother Earth ' is probably my favorite song because it's so pertinent today. Some of the other songs are just songs written over time about some of my love gone wrong relationships. The song 'The rest of me remembers ' was a collaboration with a New Orleans poet who lived through Hurricane Katrina. I tend to sound a little bit like James Taylor, but then I spent some of my youth in Stockbridge Ma. And I remember being 16 yrs. Old and sitting in his room at the Austen Riggs Center with my brother listening to James play one of his new tunes. I hope you enjoy the album. By the way the last tune is my niece from Portland Maine playing and singing one of her own compositions. Hope to hear Thanks again CD Baby.
