'Farm Songs' is a collection of mostly rural and farm-related songs by one of the Midwest's finest singer-songwriters. Production is stripped down and simple. Some tracks are just vocal and guitar, others offer the vocals and harmonica of Jan Lucas and the mastery of Jason WIlber on a variety of stringed instruments. The songs were recorded in 2 days at Airtime Studio, outside of Bloomington, IN. The songs are drawn from material written and recorded in the past 10 years, and previously included on the albums, 'Heart Land', 'Amber Waves', 'The Back Fields' and 'Holding Up The World'. Yet, these are all new versions, in many ways similar to live performance. Also included is a gem of a new song- 'The Longest Night.'
