Beat of Different Drummer BOD2 PROPOSAL: Implement fundraising effort through viable processes and procedures using the arts (music and dance) as the methods and means. STATUS: Thomas Fuller has invested well over 25 years putting together a unique pedagogy and curriculum for an scientific and technological educational research institution geared toward intellectual property (property of the mind). VISION: Start with the arts as a community event in which music and dance is used to market, brand and fundraise to attract awareness and attention and dissemenate our mission of seeking creatively innovative inventive types. INSTITUTE: Thomas Fuller, Director, NuNique Institute Knowledge Engineering, sets up fundraisers for building this nonprofit (501C3) school for scholarly creatives. MODEL: Using a totally new and unique educational model based upon 'OPIIA' (Original Perspectives Innovation-Invention Approach), it has been decided that the arts is the best and first move to take from Zero Point (ZP). ARTS: The school of arts, which encompasses music and dance/choreography and with music and dance being the two sides of the same coin, the musical trademark is called, The JaHazz Sound and dance is known as, JaHazzing Dancing or JaHazzing; like all aspect of the school, were created and developed by it's visionary leader, Thomas Fuller. THE STORY: The question is, how can and did Thomas Fuller create a style of music unique to him? How many people can be annoited with creating a style of music? AND dance too? He says, this is an example of OPIIA (Original Perspectives Innovation-Invention Approach) and how his pedagogy can and will provide his students with the knowledge and application for successful implementation thereof. The answer is, through necessity he recorded a vocal example of his trademark music style, The JaHazz Sound. This is what he calls taking a student from his concept; 'Immaterial Thinking Theoretical Understanding (ITTU) to Material Action Practical Overstanding (MAPO)'. Overstanding means, to have a perspective of looking down upon, oversight, having a command over, in charge of. PLAN: Start in the local community through meet and greets with invitation only and general public LP discussions and questions and answers parties. No, not that LP; Listening Parties to discuss the school, it's music and dance programs, finances and general school vision. The entertainment will consist of events in which Thomas Fuller will present his style of music, performance and Q&A session. For instance, one might want to know about the song titled, 'Dirteen' which came from a kid trying to say thirteen, as in, 'She's dirteen years old.' CD: Beat Of Different Drummer (BOD2) is a vocal example of The JaHazz Sound; though he doesn't consider himself a musician, singer/songwriter, composer or arranger, his goal was to create an educational vehicle as an example of showing the possibilities and probabilities his school's curriculum has in store for the students. Creativity begets creativity. 'Can you define JaHazz as a musical genre?' In it's most basic form, JaHazz as a concept is defined as Theatrical Audio Music/Sounds (TAMS). Meaning, each song is treated as a scene, with the instruments and vocals portrayed as characters interacting in dialogue to tell a story. The musical concept is to create scripted scenes with the instruments and vocals playing character roles. As a vocalist, he used various vocal voices and phrasings; as communication is never always, nice, neat and clean. By using many different voicings, it helped in creating the scenes. Even song structure is nontraditional and presents a more real reflection of the dialogue people have in life with shouts, whispers, dischord, etc. He says his music moves, as one instantly wants to move, but mentally it quickly becomes; but how? It's a music that moves, but how one prepositions his/her body to move to it is the mental hurdle. His JaHazzing Dancing & Choreography pedagogy and curriculum is built upon simple rudiments of which everyone can learn and do, as well as the sophisticated dexterity necessary for trained dancers. Historical Event: Icons aren't born every day. Micheael Phelps, Michael Jordan, Jimi Hendrix, Tiger Woods. Uniqueness is the element that sets Icons apart. You are invited to witness and be a part of an event that will present the making of a Musical Icon. The creation and presentation of a musical style all of his own making. How many musicans can be annoited with creating a style of music? And to add to that, how many can also be credited with creating a dance style that goes with the new style of music? Pop culture in the making! This is not about marketing hype, this is about a musical event fundraiser for a school founded upon teaching the development and production of creativity. The music and dance are merely prototype examples of this theoretical concept brought to practical fruition. The question that needs answering is, 'How does a person with little to no musical and dance skills create a unique style of music and dance?' The simpliest answer is, becoming a student practitioner in the unique educational pedagogic system geared towards engineering creativity.
