Paths & Points of Existence
Strunken White was a heavy indie rock band that became very well known in their flourishing North Carolina music scene from their inception in 1996 until the band broke up in 2001. The young ensemble played many shows in the Durham/Chapel Hill area over the years with many notable national acts including The Dismemberment Plan, Bright Eyes, Q and Not U, The Faint, and Boy Sets Fire. They released two critically acclaimed albums, 2000's 'Lighting a Dark North', and 2001's 'Paths and Points of Existence', which both received airplay on college radio all over the country, hitting number 1 at several stations. Since the band's demise, the members have gone on to participate in the groups Tiger Bear Wolf, Des Ark, Broke Mountain, Biscuit Burners, Big Fat Gap, En Garde, Darkness Under Depths, I Was Totally Destroying It, Marijuana Wolf, On The Beach, Transit Union, and io.
