»The Duo Zimmermann (Flugelhorn) & Moser (Guitar) has created a wonderful CD. The original tunes are melodic and full of interesting harmonic surprises, at times reminiscent of Tom Jobim on the Brazilian pieces and Thelonius Monk on some of the swing numbers. The two musicians are having a conversation on each piece, leaving space for each other and playing lyrically and in the moment as improvisers. Both have a great sound on their respective instruments and they have a real identity as a duo. Highly recommended.« JOHN STOWELL »It is a nice refreshing change to hear a guitarist who doesn't try to play a million notes in every solo, but instead plays in a more melodic style that utilizes space in his solos.« ROYCE CAMPBELL »The accuracy on not only the melodies but on your solos as well was very impressive.« BOBBY SHEW »Fantastic and soulful sound!! Great artists!« IGNAZIO DI SALVO About the musicians: Stephan Zimmermann (Flugelhorn) is one of Germany's most highly respected Jazz musicians of our time.
