Spencer Stanley a young musician developed his love for music and the piano in his elementary years. Writing music in junior high became a form of pleasure and activity for him. Performance in his school bands, jazz bands and a multiple of orchestras reflects his own composition work in his album, "Midnight Orchestra" which features a classical, instrumental, new age and piano style. Midnight Orchestra is Spencer's debut album, released in 2010. It contains 11 pieces which takes listeners into the depths of melodic piano flow, engaged with rhythmic sounds of string, some wood winds and percussion instruments bouncing with the snare and timpani drums. Songs from Midnight Orchestra play on internet radio stations and his music video, features the song "Midnight Orchestra" on You Tube. Spencer took music lessons in piano, trumpet and learned the French horn in high school. His school earned top scores in band, jazz and orchestras in competitions throughout the state. He was an all star youth musician with the Utah Symphony. Despite his brass background his songs consist mainly of piano, strings, and percussion that blend into all sorts of melodies and harmonies. Midnight Orchestra is compiled of songs Spencer wrote and co-orchestrated with Dave Zimmerman throughout high school. It features Spencer (piano) and Dave Zimmerman (percussion), along with other young musicians that he has met over the years; Andrea Hughes (violin) Natachia Li (cello) and Sophie Stanley (classical guitar).
