He Watches Over Me
The Shuler Family Band is three generations singing 'down home' gospel music. Paul, Bonieta, Colin, Gerri, Jacob, Philip, Sara, Megan and Tommy have poured their hearts into their music for the last several years as they've traveled and sang throughout the west. This album reflects their dedication and love for the music they sing and the message it brings. 'He Watches Over Me' is the family's second album. The title song was inspired by the eruption of Mt. St. Helens in 1980. Living 30 miles from the mountain, there were lots of concerns expressed about folks' safety through the media outlets of the day. But the mountain blew and we made it through and now...here we are, nearly 30 years later, still safe in the comfort that God is watching over and protecting us. We hope you enjoy the songs selected for this album. They are a mix of different styles--some original, some traditional, some newer material--all wholesome, honest music by a family band that loves God and loves each other. Thanks for listening.
