Shir Nash is a talented, master guitarist. His interest in music began at age ten and has continued to grow. His professional music career spans 28 years and his accomplishments continue to expand. Shir was educated in the Academy of Jerusalem under well known musicians; Egon Kerton and Stu Hacohan. He continued his musical studies at EMI in London, where he also performed. His repertoire includes performances with the Philharmonic Orchestra in London as well as personal solo guitar performances. Shir is not only a performer, but an accomplished composer and producer of his own work as well as other performers. He has co-produced a newly released CD, entitled "Picture Me", by the performer "Rebecca", which is also available on CD BABY. All of the musical arrangement, composition and production were done entirely by Shir, under NTS, his production company. He also instructs on many subjects, including composition, harmony, theory, vocal and guitar. He has authored and published musical instruction textbooks, including "Flow with the Guitar", volumes 1 & 2 and "Guitar Theory". In addition, Shir Nash writes, arranges and produces music for both the British Broadcasting Company (BBC) in London and for Israeli television programming. Shir is currently producing a Jazz CD, including original and newly arranged works. His CD, "Shir in London", now available on CD BABY is a collection of his performances of famous classic instrumental arrangements. The arrangements are authentic. And some include an added touch of rock.
