Product notities

Shawn Everette is Christian artist residing in Baltimore Maryland, but his edgy in your face lyrics still carry the aroma of Long Island New York where he grew up. Shawn Everette combines urban contemporary Christian music with a quiet storm brand of soul and worship music. With influences from a variety of music styles such as R&B, gospel, and praise and worship his signature sound is destined to capture the mind, soul, and spirit of people from vast musical taste bringing them to a common point of truth. In a confusing world such as it is, Shawn Everette debut album Answers, (Scheduled to be released in March 2007), brings a message that helps to light the path that leads to freedom through Christ Jesus with songs titles such as Answers, (Title Cut), Paradox, Share eternity with Me, and Suddenly. Not only will you nod your head to the slick tracks every lyric will capture you inner thoughts. This album was created to make people think. "We are bombarded every day with high levels of useless stimuli that clouds and keeps our minds from dealing with God thoughts or eternity". (Shawn Everette) Shawn Everette began to sing solos at the tender age of 13 and began writing and producing songs for himself. After graduating high school, he attended Five Towns College in Dix Hills, New York to further his broad based musical training. There he underwent two years of intensive vocal training with a professional vocal trainer and extensive singing lessons. He also interned at a recording studio, furthering the perfection of his craft and gaining additional experience in producing. After graduating from Five Towns College with a degree in Audio Engineering, Everette had one of his original R&B songs highlighted on a major radio station in New York. I really believe that experience helped to expand my insight and vision in regards to my aspirations as a singer, songwriter, and producer. After performing at an open audition in Manhattan, he was offered a recording contract with Famous Artist Associates, a management company affiliated with Motown Records. However, he began to realize the importance of his spiritual background. I found that the only way that I could truly be satisfied with my life and music was through Christ. I knew that in order for my music to get to the next level, I was required to make the music His. With that revelation, he vowed to write, produce, and perform music that glorified God. Shawn Everette migrated to Baltimore, Maryland, completing his Bachelors degree in Communications at Morgan State University. While there he worked with various artists, at various studios such as Elysium Records, and performed at Marylands biggest event, the AFRAM Expo and shared the stage with Commissioned, Kirk Franklin, and John P. Kee. After an intense three-year season of training, Shawn Everette is entering the music industry with a divine revelation concerning his destiny: "Were living in an age where people are dying because they have no knowledge of Jesus. It's time that we go on the offensive by ministering to the masses. I know that God has called me to minister to those who don't know Him".
