The Palestine native, now residing in Little Rock, known as Shauna C released her debut album entitled Simply Me on November 16 2006. The R&B singer-songwriters first single Dreaming featuring ESIII played on several local radio stations in AR.On Power 92.3 Pump It or Dump It- reached 85% pump, 106.5 fm Da Force- radio airplay, and KABF 88.3 with T-Man- live radio interview to name a few, but it doesn't stop here. She also performed at the S.I.R. Building in Nashville, TN on June 24th 2006 for Don Reed/Affinity Music where she received a great deal of responses. On December 27th 2006, Shauna C met with Michelle Wallace, a writer for the Times Herald, the local newspaper in Forrest City, AR, for an article. This full page article made Wednesday's paper, January 3rd 2007 and it mentions how it all began, the hard work involved and finding out more about her dedication. Her debut album Simply Me has received great responses online and in street sales from not only the U.S., but the U.K., the Netherlands, Japan, etc. Her newest single So High (u lift me) on the album has been playing in local night spots as well. It also made Hottest in Da Rock (Little Rock) with DJ BabyBoy the week of Feb. 12th thru Feb 16th 2007 on Hot 96.5 fm. In Carbondale, IL, Shauna C reached the Top 10 for Hip Hop and R&B with DJ Vice Versa at WIDB 104.3 fm. She was also one of eight winners with the Local Show Live Worldwide "They All Started Somewhere" Contest with Broadjam where she was featured and received internet radio airplay.
