Are you tired of changing your CD player? Have you forgotten how to rock? Seven2One's newly released album, 'On Red' will fill the void in your life. All listeners will find something to satisfy their hunger for new and dynamic rock music. Each song provides meaningful and deep lyrics with melodic harmonies that will touch listeners in a profound way. Although it is difficult to classify this mix of folk-based rock and aggressive dynamics, fans will be able to identify Seven2One's music with influences of Alice in Chains, Beck, Stone Temple Pilots, Queens of the Stone Age, & Nine Inch Nails. The variety of music on this album showcases the many levels of talent and artistry each member brings to the band. The hooks will seep into your cellular material, from folk-based harmonies to aggressive-driven riffs. Take the 'Ten Mile Dive' and land into acoustic 'Mid-Air;' build the momentum with 'Tribute;' sew your rebellious oats with 'Vice;' fall back and mellow out to 'Collide.' Chris Boggeln, vocals, and Ian Gladd, guitar, played together with various other bands on diverse instruments before meeting with drummer Noblik McArthur to form San Diego-based Girth. Girth released their full-length album, 'Encircle', and supported the album by touring California. These three artists united with Mike Silverman, guitar, and bassist Jason Evans to form Seven2One in the summer of 2003. The band's first creation, 'What's Cookin',' a 5-song EP, was the prelude to 'On Red.' Immediately praised as San Diego's most innovative musical collection, 'On Red' took the city by storm and raised the bar for quality rock music.
