Lauren Jane Bowman has recently been making great strides in her performing career. Not many people at Marymount were aware that Lauren was both a composer and singer. After graduating she returned home to Long Island. Using the stage name "Sandy Jayne", Lauren released her first CD "Dangerous Angel". This was featured on the show "Home Grown - with D. J. "Fingers", on Long Island's top radio station 102.3 WBAB. Since then, "Dangerous Angel" has received national and international internet radio and podcast airplay. Lauren is looking towards writing and recording more music soon. There is no stopping her drive for success in her chosen paths. Recently, she performed with Long Island's Minstrel Players in the George Kaufman favorite, 'The Man Who Came to Dinner'. Lauren strives to pursue a career in both music and acting.
