'An old man days from death stated, 'It is better to know one person the duration of your life than to know a million in passing.' To truly know a person is to know yourself and this symbiotic relationship describes the musical duo Sam Squared. If Sam Allard dwells on Pluto then Sam Doman is the sun and they met on earth to Polish tunes from the heart. Their latest collaboration splits between Doman's catchy sketches on love and loss and life and Allard's eerie alien chants on his own unique perspective of the world. The grounded sun and an alien from pluto, that is Sam Squared.'-Thomas Van Kolken Bio Let's keep it simple, let's keep it tasty. Sam and Sam have been making sounds for alot of years now and in '06 they decided it was time to share their ideas with the world. The debut album was recorded and engineered at the Toy Box Studio in Seattle by Brian Pake (Lonesome Rhodes). It was mastered by Ed Brooks at RFI. The second album titled 'Junior High' was released in '10. Squared teamed up with Pake again at the Toy Box. Matt Ralston (Spook the Horse, Verona) played bass on all tracks and Matt Shaw (City Light, With Friends Like These) added some synth to the record. The album was mastered by Kevin Bressler at Whiney Cat Audio.
