This album is the work of a pair of college students from Arizona State University who aimed to set the bar a little higher for Christian worship music. Mixing an array of acoustic instruments with congas and other hand percussion, 10 songs detailing the complexity of walking with God were born. The band name comes from Revelation 19:6, 'And then I heard what sounded like the voice of many rushing waters, giving praise to the Father...' Rather than stand out on their own, the members of Rushing Waters wanted to be a part of the multitude praising God. These 10 songs are an effort to bring some new thought and conviction to the church, as well as the songwriters themselves. Rushing Waters has drawn comparisons to Caedmon's Call, Bebo Norman, Andrew Peterson, Burlap to Cashmere, and Jars of Clay.
