MUNDERNO CD Mix of sounds connect Brazil, Africa and Asia The album MUNDERNO is an unique encounter of many instruments. It mixes some of the most exciting grooves of Brazil's northeast such as Baião, Maracatu, Bumba-Meu-Boi, Tambor de Mina, Tambor de Crioula and Samba. It's compositions and arrangements are open doors to an extense ways of improvisations, including a big variety of instruments: strings, bass, woods, acordeon. MUNDERNO is an exciting experience of sensations translated to sounds never expressed before. It spins round just like the world, from the heart of the tropical forests to the most uncertain paths of the deserts. MUNDERNO takes you to a trip of endless images and it allows you to come and go to the infinite possibilities of life! Pianist Rubens Salles is the author of four compositions of the album. The musician also changes distant sounds to strong and dense harmonies. And more: Rubens adopts classical Stravinsky and Bártok and some typical Brazilian songs.
