Ronique Modea, a native of Brooklyn New York, holds an A.A.S. degree in Data Processing/Computer Programming, a B.A. degree in History, and a M.Ed. Degree in Counseling and Guidance. She has served as a career consultant and workshop presenter to private individuals, community groups, educational systems and professional organizations. Honors received include being named by the Jaycees as an Outstanding Young Women of America; selected as Who's Who of Women Executives, and honored as a YMCA Black Achiever. Ms. Modea held several leadership positions with the Midwest Association of Student Employment Administrators, which included: Vice President, State Representative Committee Chairperson, Minority Concerns Chairperson, and Nominations Committee Chairperson. She was also the recipient of this organization's Leadership Recognition Award. Ms. Modea has always been active in her community and has been a volunteer for various organizations, including the Youth Collaborative Mentor Program, and the YMCA Young Black Achievers Program. In addition, she was an active member of Black Career Women, The International Association for Personnel Women, and The National Association for Female Executives. Her philosophy is 'Focus on the positives and don't sweat the small stuff.'
