Born in Melbourne, Australia, Roisin has been singing and playing the guitar from the age of eight. Her experiences have ranged from performing at weddings and in choirs, to solo performances at festivals and concerts. While Roisin has many years of singing performance behind her, it has been in recent years that she has directed her passions towards songwriting. Roisin has trained at several singing schools, and most recently at Soundworks Music Studio. The school helps singers develop a technique combining vocal freedom and expression with an intrinsic knowledge of the body. Roisin's self-titled album is a compilation of six original tracks, which feature her on vocals and guitar, and the keyboard skills of Duncan Kinnell, from Creative Music Design in Melbourne. The tracks include two acoustic songs, "Orbit" and "Stars & Moon." Roisin often composes songs for her friends, such as "Orbit," 'Soar' and 'Never Look Back.' A believer that music is an art form that crosses all boundaries, Roisin wants to share her stories and experiences with the music world.
