Out of Control
With an undeniable rock and roll style, Roger is transforming the way people discover music. Whichever way you care to define them, Roger is extremely promising. Laced with catchy hooks and filled with outstanding stage performance, Roger have resurfaced with a vengeance. After recently recording their second CD, 'Out of Control', the brothers of Roger took the mind-melding excitement of their live sound and compressed it into 36 minutes of pure rock-pop bliss. Displaying maturity, depth, and commercial potential, Roger stands alone in a market overwhelmed by repetition and sameness of sound. When lead guitarist Jason, and drummer Jamie formed Roger in May of 2000, it seemed the fulfillment of the inevitable for these rockers at heart. An additional guitarist was necessary along with someone who could really sing. Looking no further than their younger brother, Justin, proved immediately to be the magnetic force that pulled things together. Justin, a well-mannered Johnny Rotten, is confident enough to command the attention of his adoring audience. With his sincere desire to entertain and make everyone have a good time, he lures the audience to his side. The band's most recent addition is bass player Sid, rounding out their sound. Roger have left their mark in The Viper Room and The Roxy in L.A., House of Blues in Las Vegas, and The Village Underground located in the heart of Greenwich Village. Roger have commanded an extremely loyal following in their hometown of St. Cloud, Minnesota, built on their energetic and captivating show. These three brothers bring more than just music to the table. Being born and growing up in a family of musicians has lent them to deep roots in just about every genre of music. Inspired by The Beatles and uplifted by rock and roll sounds of the Clash and U2; Roger have created an infectious, radio-friendly sound, memorable vocals and extraordinary groove.
