In February 2000, a group of friends formed a teenage garage band called Fat Louie. Countless shows and a few members later, they split. Reiss went off to University. Cody and Sid went to work. Devin left for good. In 2008, Sid, Reiss and Cody reformed with Phil, a childhood friend and drummer. When Reiss moved home from Los Angeles, the boys decided to hit the ground running and record the record of their dreams. They would call themselves Rockwood, an homage to the towns they grew up in - Stonewall and Stony Mountain, MB, Canada.
