Robert Parker started his music career playing classical music with the Guild guitar his grandmother gave him for his 13th birthday. Much to Grandma's chagrin, Bob discovered rock and roll shortly thereafter - and his life hasn't been the same since. Robert Parker paid his musical dues growing up in Washington, DC - hanging out and jamming with local guitar heroes and fronting popular local bands Spencer, Above Ground and Savage Minds. When Robert moved to Santa Fe, New Mexico, in 2008, he hooked up with long-time Santa Fe musicians Jono Manson, Peter Wilson and Mike Chavez to for the Robert Parker Band. New Mexicans have been rocking to his unique blend of rock, blues and rockabilly ever since. And, yes, he really was a judge-- but that's another story!
