Perils the Grace & the Way
The Perils The Grace and the Way has been two years in the making. Starting with the rocky 'A Thousand Miles', written after being stranded for a month in France, the album goes on to explore life's journey through different stories and styles. During the recording process Rob visited Bangladesh and some of the songs talk about his time there. There are songs that challenge faith such as Dangerous thing and the Steve Earle cover, 'Jerusalem'. Recorded with a range of musicians including Graeme Duffin (Wet Wet Wet), Sandy Jones (Wet Wet Wet), Si Hayden, Ian Farquhar (Decatone), and covering styles from Rock/pop to acoustic ballards, this is a journey that throughs hope into lifes darkest times.
