Sound We Made
Recorded in a rural Pennsylvania kitchen over the course of only four days, 'The Sound We Made' is original acoustic American music. Influenced by traditional bluegrass and troubadour balladry, and comprised largely of lead singer Oliver Craven's compositions, this album is what happened when four young musicians and one recording engineer shacked up in the early part of 2010. Out of these sessions was birthed the band River Wheel. This debut effort is a wonderful example of remarkably powerful yet intimate songwriting, musicianship and performance.
