'Several years ago, my husband and I moved from the midwest to the small city of Longmont, Colorado, in the shadow of the twin peaks of Meeker Mountain and Long's Peak. It changed my life. In the first months at our new location, we went to a local coffeehouse, Cafe Luna, to an open stage night. My husband encouraged me to perform, and that began an exciting friendship with some of the most marvelous musicians and human beings I have encountered. Three of these wonderful people have contributed their considerable talents to 'Finally', helping me to realize a dream that had been on the back burner for a very, very long time.' -Rini Rini Twait's vocals are, in a nutshell, versatile. Originally trained in opera, she has very successfully transitioned to folk, jazz, blues, and related genres. Sometimes pure, sometimes sultry, sometimes spirited, and always easy to listen to, 'Finally' was created to showcase a broad range of vocal stylings. Throughout the diverse selections, the common thread is deep emotion: mostly love, sometimes justice. Aiding and abetting her in this endeavor are three extremely talented musicians: Rob Chirico, Lin Chirico, and Michael Bellmont. Michael lends three of his amazing original songs and contributes truly masterful guitar tracks. Rob and Lin bring exquisitely sensitive guitar and accordion/bodhran instrumentals, respectively, to the project, as well as arrangements and more. Rini also provides electric dulcimer and autoharp backups. The result? A potpourri of musical delights; an album with a range of styles and great variety. Enjoy.
