As far back as I can remember, other than just the past few moments, my hand yearned to put my fingers on a G string............, as well as a B,E,A,& D string. Anyway, after using an air guitar for roughly the first 13 years of my life, I decided it was time to try the real thing. ( Didn't take me long to figure that one out ay? ) So a friend of mine, who was a guitar player himself, had an extra guitar laying around, and offered to sell it to me for the whopping sum of 5 dollars. Well, me knowing a good deal when I see one ( the guitar was worth like 6.00, easy ) I gave him the cash. I had to beg my mother for the money, but she finally gave in. So my pal Dave, taught me a few chords, and I practiced and practiced, doing my best to become the next Steve Howe. I'm still working on that one, but I certainly got to the point where it was time to put my guitar playing fingers to work, and start a rock-n-roll band. Now for the purposes of this bio page, I will not go into detail about the next few years of playing in the band, but I did want to make the point, that playing the guitar would lead to one of the real reasons I wanted to learn to play to begin with, and that was to make some sort of sense out of all these melodys & ideas scrambled up in my brain. So with guitar in hand, I was able to put this information going on in my head, into songs. From there, time would pass quickly, I would eventually write 100's of songs, land over 3 dozen single song contracts with various publishers. Have cuts with Nashville singers, including Keith Bradford & Judy Welden, as well as having independent cuts of my own. A good friend of mine, Trey, would go on to sing over 70 songs that I wrote, and a few we wrote together. Another good friend Ann, would go onto sing about 9 songs that I had specifically written for her style of voice. Most of those will be available to hear soon, as well as a soon to be released CD with Trey ( SEE BACK TO THE FUTURE ON MY WEB PAGE ) This of course, would all lead to 'Audio Nutrition', the CD you see now. The only way to really comprehend what style of music it is, is to listen to it. Certainly, a lifetime of influences will be heard, as well as what I believe is originality as well. So check it out & enjoy. It's still, only the beginning.
