Greatest Hits Giancola
Perth-based, Classic Rock & Roller, Angelo Giancola, founder of the band 'Ricky & the Raiders', blends an 80s vibe with a contemporary sound, bridging the musical gap of the decades, both tastefully and creatively. With an ambitious interest in music at only 18, Angelo joined a cover band for a couple of years, eventually leaving to pursue his own songwriting abilities. With this transition, 'Ricky & the Raiders' was created. Over the Years, the band has played over 20 of Angelo's originals, at gigs such as the Rivervale Hotel and the Kelmscot Pub. Angelo's latest album, entitled 'Greatest Hits', a 2009 release, contains 11 of his best songs to date, with 2 accompanying video clips, of equally high quality. His style of music can be compared to the likes of Graham Parker and The Angels. Also included on the album's page, is a 12-string orchestrated symphony, as a loving dedication to his parents, 'Felice and Carmela'.
