She Loved Angels
This is not Rick first album. He has got a few under his belt but I must say this is one of the best I heard so far. All the songs have been honed and polished the best Rick could with his limited budget and gear. This album is dedicated to his wife who passed away last year due to cancer. Rick's musical training started at the age of ten singing in a symphony boy's choir and later on learning to play the guitar, bass and some keyboard. Since this humble beginning some thirty years ago, Rick has performed as a front man and songwriter in numerous bands. These groups have performed original music and/or covered top 40 music, classic rock, hard rock, rock, pop rock, country, blues, some standard jazz, and rhythm and blues, even some French songs in Canada, Quebec. By playing his way through this maze of musical genres, Rick has defined his own sound. Later on he got bored playing the clubs so he kind of left the scene and went studio. All instruments (except programmed drum) are played by Rick. All voices sung by him, this is him entirely. This album is an emotional one for Rick and he wants to share his feelings with you listeners out there. Hope you will enjoy.
