Welcome to the music of Richard Falcon, the composer of the Mid West! Richard Falcon has been quoted by Eagle Radio as the best guitarist to come out of the mid-west! Richard comes from the blood line of a great composer Johann Strauss Jr. and the Strauss family! Richard's musical career started in the late eighties touring the Midwest. Richard has studied classical guitar for three years. Richard then started to work on his degree in music performance and music education. Richard also studied composition and orchestration and went on to win 5 music awards including "the Director's Award" and 9 academic awards! Richard's music was signed by Carefree records in 2000, with 3 production companies. Richard's music is played in public radio stations all over the world including satellite radio. Richard's Music is also available on 70 download stations and 2400 distribution stores across America. Richard's music is known to have a spiritual movement that moves his audience. Welcome to the sounds of Richard J Falcon Jr. Creation is my third release! This album features guest musicians from around the area! Steve Generuex, Jessica Tarman, Mary Rose Chabaan and the duo from the popular Christian band 'Furious Glow', Kira and John Stevens. This CD also has a wide range of styles. Classical, Jazz, Celtic, Hip hop, World, Progressive and Latin sounds. The best way that I can describe this album to you is by the many styles it possesses. If you like Jazz you will love track 2, 'A-Mid-Summer-Nights-Dream', this song is a sultry movement of classical guitar and a muted trumpet! The electric guitar come in and takes over the lead. This song is one that will be a favorite with the sultry jazz audience. 'Your way (gotta have it)'. This song has a jazz feel with a walking bass line and small runs from the piano. I believe what makes this song stand out it the duo lines between the muted trumpet and a Wah guitar. The wah effect goes nicely with the mutes trumpet. If you like Latin jazz there are several versions on this CD. 'Dance in the Sand' is full of percussions and a Carlos Santana guitar for the lead. Great rhythms and flying horns! This song rocks. 'Latin Love' has more of a flamenco guitar with a salsa accompaniment. The guitar work is amazing with the light Latin percussions. If you like traditional classical music listen to 'Sonata for Flute and Guitar'. This features Jessica Tarman, a K-State graduate. This song is just a classical guitar and a flute. The classical guitar uses major seven chords, which causes the song to change keys much like a jazz type song. However, it has a classical feel because of it melodic ness. I believe this will be a favorite with the classical audience! 'Eyes Wide Open (a father's)' is an orchestration of guitars! With it's moving strings and it multiple guitar movements this song is a favorite. The 'Violin Suite' has always been a favorite the first time I performed it live. Orchestra with a violin lead! This song moves the audience. In the Celtic world there is 'The Irish Maiden's Dance'. The song uses traditional Celtic instruments and gives you a taste of the Irish! In the World categories we have 'Kisses in Italy' and 'God Gave love', both of these our worlds apart. 'God gave love,' sounds very world music, with the help of Mary Chabaan. Mary is a KU graduate with a degree in French language. Probably the best song on the CD! 'Misty Rain (a girl named)'! This song opens up with a soft piano and an amazing fretless bass work by Steve Generuex! Just the technique of the bass is unreal. This will be the one that is a hit. Already aired on Eagle radio! 'Damaged' is in a style that I usually do not use on the CD. 'Damaged'! This is a instrumental about child abuse and working with children that have been abused. The song is an orchestration of guitar synth and samples. Welcome to the new world of instrumentals. I hope you enjoy my 'Creation'. With the help of fellow musician we created an outstanding CD. I feel that the other musicians added so much to this CD. It was a creation of several people, with several ideas on one CD.
