RETRO-BLUE is a collection of experienced central Ohio jazz vocalists and musicians. The list of their credits is extensive. As individual players they have headlined with such star performers as Sarah Vaughn, Tony Bennet, Maynard Ferguson, Woody Herman, Tom Scott, and the Brecker Bothers; and played or are currently playing with local ensembles including the Columbus Symphony Orchestra and Columbus Jazz Orchestra. Every song on the album - even the three instrumentals - has a story to tell. Each captures a particular moment or series of moments in the life of someone you know, know of, or at least someone you will get to know by the end of the album through the magic of music.
