Three Three Nine
'What a gift it is to be able to play music. To gather people in a room and everyone agrees on the subjects of the songs is truly a blessing.' This is a different approach to a bio than what you're probably used to. Instead of presenting, I'd rather talk you through my world, and where I'm from. I was born in a small South Texas town called San Diego. Yes, San Diego Texas. I've always described it as the town you fill up your car on a road trip. There was nothing around but love and appreciation. To know the value of a dollar is key there. It was a place where dreams were born, but up to you to leave and make it happen. Not many did. I started playing drums at four, but at twelve, I picked up my mother's acoustic guitar. That was it. During my learning of the instrument, I was influenced by Eric Clapton, Stevie Ray Vaughn, The Edge, Van Halen, and my grandmother. She's been the biggest. After graduation, I left to Austin Texas and lived there for nine months. After that, I couldn't wait to get to Los Angeles. Being stimulated by MTV, I needed to see if this lifestyle actually existed. It does.... Upon arriving to Los Angeles, I hooked up with my uncle and started writing songs. Tearing through the L.A. club scene and playing every club you can think of, I was able to work up my guitar chops, and song writing ability. Since living hear in L.A., we've licensed out many of our songs. It all started with Buffy the Vampire Slayer, and moved to Price of Glory, Saving Silverman, Blind Horizon, Black Scorpion, The Job, Domino, Collateral, and more in the works. Thank God!!! After going through a traumatic time, I started writing songs for myself. I didn't hear anyone else sing or play them, so I decided to do it myself. I've released two CD's within a year's time, and it's been great. The reception has been very positive and I'm always humbled when people take to what I do. With these CD's, I've already gotten a few songs in a couple movies so it's looking great. I hope you enjoy the sounds that you will hear. These CD's have brought me much peace and happiness,....I hope it does the same for you. Thanks. Much love to ya!!1.
