Time for Awakening
Is there a voice beneath your breath; a laughter no one else can hear? That voice could very well be Render Zero, a unity of melodic modern rock and high-energy presence. Render Zero formed in November of 2005 when drummer Kevin Best, and long time friend/guitarist Scott Music, joined forces to explore their musical ideas. Soon the voice of the masses demanded that the two form a band. The feedback was so positive that Kevin and Scott set out to find a full time vocalist and bass player. Living in rural Ohio, this soon presented a greater challenge than they expected, but finally, in January of 2006, Render Zero welcomed Tom Morris as lead vocalist and full time front man. Render Zero became a perfect match of personality and talented vision. The trio quickly began the writing process. In February of 2006, Render Zero finished it's line up of musical misfits with the addition of bass player Brad Roades. After a few months of writing, and some successful live performances, Render Zero decided to take their material into the studio for their first full length album 'A Time for Awakening'. Driven by their passion for music, and an intense desire to be more than ordinary, Render Zero constantly strives to push the boundaries between expression and the status quo. With catchy, hook-laden choruses, in your face breakdowns, and tantalizing grooves, Render Zero is a force to be reckoned with, in this age of cookie cutter tedium, where one song blurs into the next without rhyme or reason. A rock/metal band, Render Zero's musical influences include Tool, Alice In Chains, Mudvayne, Metallica, System Of A Down, Slipknot, Paradise Lost, Damageplan, Type O Negative, Nine Inch Nails, Staind, Breaking Benjammin, A Perfect Circle, as well as many other local groups.
