When the Night Sets in
Reinen is a Christian rock band in Eureka, Montana that has drawn influence by such artists as Casting Crowns, Third Day, and Jeremy Camp. Founding brothers Kerrol and Kit Evins began their musical journey together in 2004 while sharing an apartment together in Tulsa, Oklahoma. At that time their music was simple piano and guitar songs shared only with friends and family. Later, after moving back to their hometown in Montana, they met and became friends with Jason Kilroy and Casey Arneson. These two friends helped them flesh out their music into a 'full band' sound. Brother Kole Evins also began to play bass with the group shortly after. Though Reinen hopes that their music will be pleasant to the ear, they pray the lyrics will also be meaningful to the heart. Reinen's first album, 'When The Night Sets In', is a collection of songs that have been compiled throughout the years as a result of personal lessons, trials, and triumphs. Title song, 'When The Night Sets In' for example, is a real personal snapshot of finding salvation and hope in Jesus Christ. Songs 'Here With Me', 'Stand', and 'I Stand Amazed' deal with some different aspects of living life as a Christian. It is Reinen's desire that this album will reach, inspire, and encourage others to hold on to hope during the highs of life and during the lows as well.
