Everyone Looks Better at Night
The Redliners have done it again! Hailing from Tampa Bay, FL, and delivering rock'n roll-inspired rock'n roll for the better part of a decade, the trio has delivered another tasty release, appropriately called 'Everyone Looks Better at Night.' This 4-song EP of brand new music is a sampling of things to come. Previously, these songs were only available if you were lucky enough to catch these hard working boys out on the road, but they talked the tyrannical execs at the helm of Fat Orange Cat Records into releasing this EP while they're busy whiling away in their combination lair/studio: The RedQuarters. Too much on the fringe for the rockabilly purists and too grounded in 12-bar blues for the punk/garage purists; what is this sound that echoes across the Gulf of Mexico? Journalists call it 'Truck Stop Doo-Wop,' or 'if the Ramones were Chuck Berry's backing band.' But if you're lucky enough to corner one of the boys themselves after plying them with a drink or three, they'll most likely deadpan, 'We do rock'n roll.' So ask yourself... are you down?
