Many of the songs off the band's debut album have been cuddled, fondled, and often beaten senseless over the course of two or three years. The band is both excited and relieved to bring finality to this set of hard rock ditties. This entirely self-produced debut album offers a unique mix of the band's influences and perspectives on rock. 'Pedophile' and 'So It Ends' maintain the guitar-heavy roots on which the band was founded, while 'Facedown' and 'Last Mistake' are driven squarely by the bass and offer an electronicly-influenced sound, on the order of Nine Inch Nails and Muse. 'Out Like A Soldier' showcases the band's diversity and ability to use dynamics. The Host was written and produced by Red9 and recorded at LDD (Jeff's garage) in Southern California. The band wishes to thank their family, friends, and fans for supporting them in all the ways they do. Support your local music scene!
